Welcome to Tucson!

Whether you are new to the Tucson area or you are a life long resident, one thing is for certain, we have a lot of wildlife. With hundreds of birds, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians in our desert you may find yourself wondering what critter you keep seeing in your yard.  This page is dedicated to providing you an easy resource to turn to when you want to identify one of those  critters you may encounter running through your yard or neighborhood. This resource is not a comprehensive account of all the critters you may encounter but does include many of the commonly seen critters.
